Sam’s Club Black Friday 2026 and What Last Year’s Sale Looked Like
Sam’s Club Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving.
Sam’s Club hasn’t released its 2026 ad yet. Last year’s sale ran in three waves, starting with a doorbuster weekend nearly three weeks before the holiday.
Every club is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26.
The 2025 sale in three waves
The 2025 ad laid out the whole season on its first page, which 9to5Toys published in October 2025.
- Black Friday Doorbusters ran November 7 to 9, with Plus members shopping online from 9 p.m. ET on November 6.
- Countdown to Black Friday brought ten days of deals, November 16 to 26.
- The main Black Friday event ran November 27 to 30.
That last wave had a quirk. November 27, 2025, was Thanksgiving Day, so the main event’s first day happened online only, with every club closed.
The calendar shifts a day this year. Thanksgiving is November 26 and Black Friday is November 27, so if Sam’s Club repeats the November 27 start, the main event would open on Black Friday itself.
Last year’s doorbuster prices
The first doorbuster weekend led with tablets, TVs and audio.

By my math, the deepest cuts weren’t on the TVs. The JBL speaker came off 40% and the soundbar 25%, while the 86-inch LG TV dropped about 13%.
The iPad deal worked differently. Instead of a lower sticker price, it paired the price with $120 in Sam’s Cash, which only pays off when you spend it at Sam’s Club later.
These are last year’s prices, and they won’t repeat exactly. Treat them as a guide to the kind of discounts the 2026 sale is likely to bring.
Black Friday hours
Sam’s Club hasn’t announced special hours for Black Friday 2026. It didn’t open early in 2025, and Today.com reported that clubs kept their normal hours that day, 8 a.m. for Plus members and 9 a.m. for Club members, until 8 p.m.
If 2026 follows that pattern, Curbside Pickup would run its usual windows too, from 7 a.m. for Plus members and 9 a.m. for Club members.
Black Friday isn’t one of the holidays with special Sam’s Club hours, so normal hours are the safe bet until Sam’s Club says otherwise.
Thanksgiving is one of the four days a year that Sam’s Club closes, so Wednesday, November 25, is the last day to shop before the holiday. The Thanksgiving weekend schedule covers pickups and pharmacy timing for that week.
Plus members get in first
Sam’s Club Plus includes up to 12 hours of early access to online events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In 2025, that meant the doorbusters opened to Plus members online at 9 p.m. ET, the night before everyone else.
In clubs, Plus members also get the daily 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. early hour, a full hour before Club members can shop. Whether that’s worth the extra $60 a year depends on far more than one weekend.
Plus also earns 2% Sam’s Cash on qualifying purchases made in the club, up to $750 a year. On last year’s $696.99 LG TV, that’s about $14 back on top of the doorbuster price, by my math.
Cyber Monday
Cyber Monday falls on November 30, 2026. Sam’s Club lists Cyber Monday alongside Black Friday among the online events where Plus members get their early access.
Last year’s main event ended on Sunday, November 30, the day before Cyber Monday 2025. This year that Sunday is November 29, so watch whether the 2026 ad stretches the sale into Monday.
If you’re not a member yet
Last fall’s best membership offer came before Black Friday, not on it. In an October 2025 announcement, Sam’s Club offered new members a Club membership for $15 or Plus for $50 through October 31, 2025.
The same announcement set up an Open House from October 17 to 19, 2025, when non-members could get a free trial at the Member Service Desk and shop at member prices. Offers like these change every year, so check the current one before the sale weekend.
How to shop the sale
- Order online for Curbside Pickup, which is free for every member with no minimum.
- Use Scan & Go in the Sam’s Club app to skip the checkout line in the club.
- For delivery from your club, Plus members pay nothing on eligible orders of $50 or more, and Club members pay $12 an order.
- Watch the limits. Last year’s doorbusters capped the iPad at two per member and the TVs at five.
- Check stock first. Several 2025 doorbusters, including the iPad and the soundbar, were listed as available online and at select clubs rather than every club.
Big purchases come with a safety net. Under the Sam’s Club return policy, TVs and other electronics can go back within 90 days, so a TV bought on Black Friday, November 27, can be returned until February 25, 2027.
When the 2026 ad will show up
The 2025 doorbuster ad surfaced online in late October, and 9to5Toys published it on October 22. A similar schedule would put the 2026 ad within the next week or two.
