Sam’s Club Hours, From Plus Early Shopping to the Pharmacy
Sam’s Club hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day for all members.
Plus members can shop from 8 a.m., and Sundays now follow the same schedule as the rest of the week.
The departments are the catch. The pharmacy, optical center and tire shop set their own hours, and they’re often shorter than the club’s.

These are the standard times on Sam’s Club’s hours page. All times are local, and some clubs run a different schedule.
Sunday hours
Sam’s Club keeps the same hours on Sunday as on any other day, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for all members and from 8 a.m. for Plus. The official schedule lists one set of hours for Monday through Sunday.
That’s a recent change. Until October 12, 2025, most clubs opened at 10 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m. on Sundays, and 9to5Toys quoted Sam’s Club’s announcement of the new daily schedule that fall.
Plenty of hours sites never caught up. If a page says Sam’s Club closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday, it’s showing the old schedule.
Not every department moved with the club, either. The pharmacy at the San Antonio club further down this page still doesn’t open at all on Sundays, and neither do most Sam’s Club pharmacies.
What Plus members get before 9 a.m.
Sam’s Club Plus members can shop from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. every day, an hour before the doors open to Club members. Club members can’t come in during that hour, and Sam’s Club notes that select exclusions apply without listing them.
The bigger head start is curbside and delivery. Plus orders can be picked up or delivered from 7 a.m., two hours before Club orders, while pickup itself is free for everyone. Delivery comes in two-hour windows, with slots from as early as 7 a.m. to as late as 7 p.m.
Over a week, my math gives Plus members 84 hours of in-club shopping against 77 for Club members, and 91 hours of curbside and delivery against 77.
I wouldn’t upgrade for the early hour alone. Seven extra hours a week is a convenience, and the $60 difference needs a better reason, like Sam’s Cash or free delivery.
Departments keep their own schedules
Sam’s Club sets department hours club by club. Here’s how one San Antonio club lists its club hours next to its pharmacy’s.
The pharmacy there closes an hour before the club on weekdays and doesn’t open on Sundays at all. The rest of that club’s page follows the same pattern.

Treat the table as an example of the pattern, not your club’s hours. The Auto & Tires shop there opens at 8 a.m., an hour before Club members can shop, which helps if you want tires fitted before work.
Pharmacy, optical and hearing appointments run on department hours, not club hours. Check the department’s own times before planning a Sunday or evening visit.
Gas station and Café
The fuel station is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, three hours before Club members can shop and two hours after the club closes. It’s the last part of a Sam’s Club to shut, so nothing at a club runs around the clock. You can pay at the pump with Scan & Go.
The Sam’s Club Café serves from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., an hour after the club opens, and you can order from it in the Sam’s Club app while you shop.
Holiday closures
Sam’s Club is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday.
Christmas Eve is the one short day, with clubs closing at 6 p.m. New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day run full hours, and the holiday calendar lists each date through Labor Day 2027.
For Thanksgiving week and Black Friday, plan pickups and pharmacy refills by Wednesday.

Search your city or ZIP code in the Club Finder on SamsClub.com or in the app, then open your club’s page. The club hours and Plus early hours sit at the top, and expanding a department shows its weekly schedule and phone number.
Right under the hours, each club page carries a small “Holiday hours may vary” note. Take it seriously in the days around a holiday, because that’s when a single club is most likely to change its times.
For anything a club page can’t answer, Sam’s Club’s contact center takes calls at 888-746-7726 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Central, seven days a week, except on Christmas, Easter and New Year’s Day.
