Sam’s Club Thanksgiving Hours 2026 and Black Friday Opening Times
Sam’s Club Thanksgiving hours for 2026 are simple. Every club is closed on Thursday, November 26.
Wednesday and the weekend run normal hours, from 8 a.m. for Plus members and 9 a.m. for Club members until 8 p.m. Black Friday times for 2026 aren’t out yet.

Every day but Thursday follows the standard schedule on Sam’s Club’s hours page. Thanksgiving sits on its short list of holiday closings.
A few clubs keep their own hours, so check your club’s regular hours before a holiday run. That makes Wednesday, November 25, the last chance to shop before the holiday.
Thursday’s closing covers the whole club. The Café, Curbside Pickup and the Member Services desk all stop for the day, so returns wait until Friday too.
Black Friday 2026
Sam’s Club hasn’t announced its Black Friday 2026 hours or sale dates. In 2025 it didn’t open early, and Today.com reported that clubs ran their normal hours that day.
Last year’s sale came in waves, according to 9to5Toys’ look at the ad. Doorbusters ran November 7 to 9, a countdown sale ran November 16 to 26, and the main event ran November 27 to 30.
That calendar hides a quirk. November 27, 2025, was Thanksgiving Day, so the main event’s first day happened online only while every club was closed.
Plus members also get up to 12 hours of early access to online events such as Black Friday. In 2025 that meant Doorbuster deals opened to Plus members online at 9 p.m. ET on November 6, the night before everyone else.
The 2025 ad surfaced in late October, so the 2026 dates could land any week now, and this page will change when they do.
Until then, I’d plan around the usual 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. openings. Nothing in the 2025 pattern points to a predawn doorbuster at the club.
Picking up an order the day before
Curbside Pickup is the easy way to grab Thanksgiving groceries on Wednesday, pies from the bakery included, but the timing needs some care.
Sam’s Club normally holds an order for up to 24 hours after its pickup time. A late Wednesday order can’t roll into Thursday when the club is closed, though, so book an early slot.
You can edit an order up to 3 hours before pickup, or 16 hours ahead for orders of 49 items or more. That second deadline matters for a big holiday shop, since a Wednesday morning pickup locks on Tuesday afternoon.
Delivery is the backup for a forgotten ingredient on Wednesday, with slots as late as 7 p.m. and no markup on item prices.

Don’t count on a Thursday drop-off. Sam’s Club’s delivery page says delivery runs every day except certain federal holidays, and Thanksgiving is a closed day for the clubs that fill those orders.
Pharmacy and gas on Thanksgiving
The pharmacy closes with the club on Thanksgiving Day, and on Wednesday it may close early. At one San Antonio club, for example, the pharmacy shuts at 7 p.m. on weekdays, an hour before the club.
Sam’s Club doesn’t list separate holiday hours for its fuel stations, so fill up on Wednesday or check your club’s page in the app before you drive over.

Four days a year the clubs close
Thanksgiving is one of four days Sam’s Club closes every year, along with Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday.
Christmas Eve is the only short day. Plus members can shop from 8 a.m. and Club members from 9 a.m., and every club closes at 6 p.m.
