Sam’s Club Cafe Menu and What Everything Costs

The Sam’s Club cafe menu is short, and almost everything on it costs less than $2. A hot dog combo is $1.50, and a whole 16-inch pizza is $8.98.
Those are the prices samsclub.com lists for a Dallas club, next to a $1.98 pizza pretzel and two $1.86 sundaes. The Cafe serves every member from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The menu and prices
| Cafe item | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Hot dog combo | $1.50 | A quarter-pound hot dog and a 30 oz soda |
| 16-inch whole pizza | $8.98 | Cheese, pepperoni or four meat |
| Pepperoni pizza pretzel | $1.98 | Baked fresh every hour |
| Berry sundae | $1.86 | A four-berry sundae |
| Brownie sundae | $1.86 | A limited-time flavor |
These are the Cafe items samsclub.com lists for the Dallas club I checked, and the site notes that prices may vary in club and online. Each club sets its own prices, so check yours in the Sam’s Club app before you go.
The hot dog combo costs $1.50 again
Sam’s Club’s hot dog combo pairs a quarter-pound hot dog with a 30 oz soda for $1.50.

That price surprises anyone who remembers the 2022 price war. Sam’s Club cut the combo from $1.50 to $1.38 in November 2022, in an announcement titled “It’s 12 cents. So what?!”
Much of the web still quotes $1.38. The current listing shows $1.50, so plan on the higher price unless your club’s menu board says otherwise.
New members can get one free. Tasting Table reported in August 2026 that the combo comes at no charge with a $10 purchase in the club, redeemed within 33 days of joining. Alcohol, tobacco, gift cards and prescriptions don’t count toward the $10.
Whole pizzas for $8.98
The Member’s Mark 16″ Hot Baked Cafe Pizza costs $8.98 in cheese, pepperoni or four meat. The four meat version adds spicy Italian sausage, bacon crumbles and ham to the pepperoni.

Sam’s Club says the pizzas are made by hand each morning on fresh dough and are ready every day from 10 a.m. The limit is four per order.
Plan on five slices, not eight. The listing says each pizza is cut into 5 slices, which works out to about $1.80 a slice. The $1.12 “each” price under the $8.98 is the total divided by eight, so it doesn’t match the cut.
Feeding a crowd? The four-pizza limit gets you about 20 slices per order, by my math.
The pizza is also the one Cafe item you can add to a pickup or delivery order. Its listing offers same-day Curbside Pickup and delivery in as little as an hour. One reviewer on the listing waited 15 to 20 minutes for a pepperoni pizza ordered around noon.
Delivery is where the deal falls apart. On a pizza-only order, standard delivery adds $8 for Plus members and $12 for Club members, and getting it within the hour costs $10 or $22.
The reviews don’t help its case either. One reviewer’s delivered pizza arrived lukewarm with the cheese slid to the edges, and another says pizzas added to orders keep coming out undercooked. Pickup is the better way to buy one.
Pizza pretzels and sundaes
The Pepperoni Pizza Pretzel costs $1.98, and Sam’s Club says it’s baked fresh hourly.
Dessert is a $1.86 sundae. The Berry Sundae is a four-berry sundae, and the Brownie Sundae carries a “Limited time only” tag, so expect the second flavor to rotate.

The sundaes and the hot dog combo are bought at the Cafe itself. Their listings show pickup and delivery as out of stock, and Sam’s Club’s delivery terms list Cafe items among the things it won’t deliver. The whole pizza is the exception.
Ordering with Scan & Go
Scan & Go in the Sam’s Club app takes Cafe orders, so you can pay on your phone and skip the line. These steps come from Sam’s Club’s Scan & Go help page.
- Open Scan & Go and tap the Cafe tile on the menu screen.
- Pick a category, then tap Add for each item. Grab-and-go Cafe items can be scanned into the same order.
- Tap View Order, go to the checkout screen and use Slide to Pay.
- Show your order number at the Cafe pickup area.

Scan & Go needs an active membership. The same help page says guest memberships can’t use it, and an expired membership has to be renewed first.
Eating at the Cafe without a membership
I couldn’t find a Cafe rule for non-members on Sam’s Club’s help pages. When Sam’s Club cut the hot dog price in 2022, Fortune reported that non-members could buy the combo too, something Costco’s food court didn’t allow.
The app route is members only, so a non-member has to pay a cashier at the Cafe counter, where a club has one. Every membership comes with Scan & Go, including the $60 Club membership.
How it compares with the Costco food court
The hot dog is a tie on price. Both clubs charge $1.50 for a quarter-pound hot dog and a drink, but Sam’s Club’s cup holds 30 oz against Costco’s 20 oz, according to the Costco food court menu on CostcoGuides.
Pizza goes the other way. Costco’s whole pizza is 18 inches for $9.95 and comes cut into 12 slices.

By my math, Costco’s pie has about 27% more pizza for 11% more money. That’s roughly 3.9 cents per square inch at Costco and 4.5 cents at Sam’s Club.
For one person, the Sam’s Club combo wins on the bigger drink. For a crowd, Costco’s pizza is the better buy, if you already pay for both memberships.
Cafe hours and party orders
The Cafe serves every member from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the pizzas are ready from opening. The Plus early hour, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., ends an hour before the Cafe opens. The club’s other department hours vary more from club to club.
For a party, pair a few pizzas with a cookie tray or a sheet cake from the Sam’s Club bakery. Custom cakes need a day’s notice, while the pizzas can be ordered for pickup the same day.
